Tips to Seas the Day

Parking Update at the Marina

Riviera Beach Marina Village now requires visitors to pay for parking.

Peanut Island Shuttle Boat customers may park at any of the marina’s parking lots.

To pay for parking, scan the QR code posted on signage throughout the parking lot with your mobile device and register your vehicle.

The first two hours are free. Click “custom date and time” to select a customized parking time frame.

Maximize Your Time

The first boat of the day departs at 10 a.m. and ticket sales begin around 9:30 a.m. daily.

Making the first boat of the day allows you to beat the crowds on the island.

Take advantage of our fast return service! Our boats run every 20 minutes.

To avoid waiting in a long line to return, we suggest taking an early shuttle back on weekends and holidays. We start to get busy for returns around 4 p.m.

The last boat off the island is 5 p.m. daily. On a weekday, we recommend waiting on the dock by 4:40 p.m. to ensure you don’t miss the last boat.

Pack everything you need for a day at the beach!

Plan Your Snorkeling Adventure

Enjoy all Peanut Island has to offer by snorkeling the artificial reefs and lagoon!

Snorkeling on Peanut Island is self-guided, which means that all you need to explore the reefs are a snorkel, mask, and the ability to swim.

Nestled at the mouth of the Lake Worth Inlet, Peanut Island is uniquely situated to benefit from the flow of turquoise gulfstream waters.

The waters surrounding Peanut Island are usually calm and crystal clear, providing the perfect conditions for snorkeling.

Peanut Island is home to sergeant majors, parrotfish, angelfish, red cushion seastars, spotted eagle rays, turtles, manatees, and more!

The best time to snorkel is at high tide, and the best window for visibility is two hours before and two hours after high tide.

We advise against snorkeling on a rainy and gloomy day or after inclement weather due to poor visibility.

Bring Your Furry Friend

Peanut Island is dog-friendly and so are we! Dogs ride for free on our shuttle boats.

Check out the complimentary dog treats at the ticket desk!

All dogs must be leashed on Peanut Island, and there are pet waste bags at various stations around the island.
